ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

The Customer Service Representative will:

· Fill a full-time position, providing best-in-class service to United States based clientele while representing the facility as a liaison between the client and the location’s internal departments

· Act as the primary point of contact for several Canadian, US and International clients

· Take ownership of their client’s needs and deliver exceptional customer support

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

CLIENT RELATIONS

· Maintain professional verbal, written, and in-person communications with clients and visitors at the facility level

· Develop understanding of client’s business and products - foster strong ties through exceptional support

· Use problem-solving skills along with a positive attitude to help navigate clients through the challenge at hand

· Maintain a stellar relationship with the client using a solution-focused approach

· Answer phones and greet visitors at reception; field any client related inquiries while facilitating any non-client inquiries with the appropriate internal facility-based parties

· Assist clients in all system-based SKU, user, and order-related setup and maintenance

· Contact carriers on client’s behalf to arrange the return, re-route, and/or hold-at-location of orders in transit

· Run and provide freight rate quotes to clients when prompted

· Help client contacts in learning to navigate the client portal to put our system’s power in their hands

· Monitor client order activity. Ensure all ProPack’s service level commitments are being met or exceeded

INTERNAL SUPPORT

· Mail handling – Sort, process, and forwarding of mail as needed

· Provide assistance with any order related issues and questions

· Sort pick tickets and other documents for filing (daily)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience in client relations or other customer-facing rolls

· Excellent time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

· Type 40 to 50 WPM

· Able to navigate various computer applications, retrieving relevant information to respond to and service customer inquiries

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Great personal skills that project a warmth and positive attitude in all correspondence (you are the welcoming face and voice of ProPack)

· Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

· Previous experience in the logistics or 3PL industry

· Knowledge/experience managing small parcel and truck carrier account relationships

· Previous experience in enterprise level sales support

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION & BENEFITS:

Insurance - Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Disability Insurance Benefits offered after 60 days of employment.

Retirement – Eligible upon hire. Must be 21 years of age or older are eligible to participate in the company 401(k) plan. Following 6 months of employment the company contributes 100% of your contribution for the first 1% if your compensation- plus 50% of your contribution up to 6% of your compensation.

Vacation - 1 year: 40 hours/year, 2-3 years: 80 hours/year, 4+ years: 120 hours/year

Bereavement - 40 hours per year

Sick Time - 1.3 hours per every 40 hours worked. Max of 52 per year.

Paid Holidays - 6 paid days

Other Compensation – Potential for year-end bonuses
